It’s so hard for me to believe that December is here – and Christmas is less than 3 weeks away. Whew. This fall has been unbelievably busy. In fact, I’ve been so busy the last few weeks making sure that all of my clients have their holiday cards on time, I never got around to making MY cards. Megan was home for a visit yesterday, so we tried to come up with an idea for a card. We never came up with a good idea for a card – but I had what I believe is an excellent idea. I generally send out over 200 cards to clients and friends. All of that printing and postage adds up quickly. We have a local charity in Jacksonville, Christmas Cheer, that provides food and toys to low-income families for Christmas. I decided that this year I would take the money I normally spend on cards and donate it to Christmas Cheer in honor of my clients and friends.
So, this is my Merry Christmas to all of you. I’m sorry I didn’t get cards made – but I’m happy that some children will have a brighter Christmas because of my procrastination.
A last reminder to all clients . . . if you want pictures before Christmas, you need to contact me NOW. My last order will be placed in a couple of days. The labs are already running overtime and shipping is taking longer than normal. I want to have all of my orders delivered well before Christmas so act now – or wait until after Christmas.
Here are a few holiday pictures of Megan and Puddin. Megan was much more cooperative than Puddin, by the way.
