While vacationing at Wrightsville Beach over Memorial Day weekend, I had the pleasure of taking pictures of one of my favorite families. Though the day was absolutely gorgeous, the wind was blowing a little harder than I’d like. However, it has been windy this entire spring so we didn’t let that stop us. One of the reasons I really like working with the Hardisons is that they are so laid back – and will do pretty much whatever I ask of them. When we first walked onto the beach, Griffin ate a handful of sand. He decided pretty quickly that sand really didn’t taste all that good! Instead of getting upset and worried, everyone just looked at Griffin and laughed – so he laughed too.
First we took some pictures of the whole family.
Then I took a few minutes to take some engagement pictures of Hilary and Shawn. I’ve taken pictures of all of the Hardisons before, but this was the first time I had met Shawn. I’m not sure what he was expecting, but when we finished taking pictures he admitted that the experience wasn’t “nearly as bad as he expected.” Maybe I need to stop saying I’m going shoot people! And, maybe I need to offer all of my clients Margaritas before the session
